Chris Wilson
A good new uprated side mount intercooler is capable of handling that sort of an engine's intercooling needs. Many front mounts are partially or even near wholly masked by an unsuitable size and shape of bumper aperture, and they rarely if ever have inlet and outlet ducting, so can be incredibly inefficient for their size and weight.
