nickyboy
Hi, After selling the UK-spec a few weeks ago I'm back with a '99 VVTI tiptronic thanks to Tristan at http://www.torque-imports.co.uk . Haven't had a chance to take pics yet so here are some from their site. Nick

nickyboy
Agree!! I dunno what the ones on it are but they don't look so good. Maybe I'd be better off with some alloy hubcaps from Halfords
Jake
Agree!! I dunno what the ones on it are lol. They're the original Toyota ones mate. The facelift Supes have different centre caps to the older models.

francis
A worthy replacement! Engine bay looks like new. So how does it compare to the last one in terms of speed? Anyway glad to hear you went for another Supra!
Darren
Hope you like it!!!
nickyboy
Speed wise I haven't really had a chance to test it out yet but the auto box changes v smoothly and at pretty low revs. What makes it all worthwhile though is the beeping while reversing that I would like to have modified to include "this vehicle is reversing". Scooter
no biggies but boot release doesn't work, wheels are a bit scuffed Paint quality on spoiler added in UK for model report is very poor. (NB anyone know if I can get that easily sprayed over or if I need to start from scratch?) Facelift boot releases are problematic..........bet if you hold the release up and get a friend to lift the boot its fine....I think Terry S solved this problem. Wheels won't be on it long will they!? (buy mine gold on black would look smart!) Re the rear spoiler i'd un bolt it and get it done off the car.....you should be able to get some rubber grommets to fill the holes for the few days it will take.. nickyboy
You're right - boot release works with someone lifting the boot at the same time as someone lifting the release! And no - the wheels won't be on it long!!
Scooter
....I think Terry S solved this problem. .. well he sort of solved it! swapped in a pre-facelift mechanism

TRD3000GT
Nice motor mate If you are after an aftermarket filter system give me a holler and you can have the Blitz SUS VVTI kit sitting on my kitchen table for £100 I bought it for over £200 so its a bargan
nickyboy
Always find it difficult to choose wheels but preferably going to go for ones that would still look good even if I went for a respray down the line to a deep silver like below. Shopping list so far is: 1. New boot release 2. "beep beep this vehicle is reversing" mod 3. Nur-spec 4. Wheels
