JamieP
Only 11,000 mile and 1500rwhp, Best supra in the world? http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=604271 [The time has finally come for me to let this rare car go. I have competed in this car at the TX Mile since Oct 2007 and the fastest speed I have achieved in the mile is 247.7 mph (March 2010). I truly believe that the car has a 251-253 mph pass the way she sits. In order to go faster than that I think I would have to change the setup to a Ford rear end, Motec ECU, dry sump the motor and a AMS1000 Boost controller. But the main reason for selling this car is that I just bought a new house. It’s a very hard decision for me to make but my family is my first priority. I bought this car from Peter Blach back in 2006 after I sold my record breaking 201mph TX Mile (March 2006) 1995 Anthracite car . The car was bone stock when I bought it from Peter and had right around 11,000 miles on her. My goal was to build a 240mph TX Mile car. In addition to the 240 mph goal, I wanted to build a car that could win a car show. I picked the best parts and lots of custom parts were made for this car. 1998 Supra Turbo Quick Silver (1 of 20) Original OEM paint No accidents Black interior Clean title 6-speed 11,519 ORIGINAL MILES Engine: ABM 3.4L Stroker Motor - BC Billet Crank - Carrillo H-beam Rods HD version - CP Coated Pistons with 9.8CR - Upgraded Wrist Pins - Titan Motorsports Billet Main Caps - Polydyn Coated all internal parts - ABM Modified Oil Pump - ACL Coated Race Main and Rod Bearings - ARP Main Studs - SP Billet Timing Belt Tensioner Bracket - Titan Motorsports Crank Pulley - Power Enterprise Timing Belt Head: ABM Fully Ported and Polished Race Head - Five Angle Valve job - ABM custom high lifted Camshafts (11.3mm) - Titan Motorsports Cam Gears - Ferrea 2mm+ Intake and Exhaust valves - Ferrea TI retainers - Ferrea Double valve springs - Ferrea Valve guides - Ferrea Valve seat locators - Ferrea Valve locks - ARP ½” Head studs - Machined Head for ½” head studs - Toyota Modified Head Gasket for ½” studs - Toyota Shimless buckets Turbo kit and Exhaust - Full Race coated T6 divided race header - Full Race 5” coated DP/MP - Garrett GT55-33R (DBB) turbo with Tial machined GT55 housing - Polished comp. housing and coated turbine housing - Dual Tial 44 waste gates - ABM custom 6” polished cold air intake - ABM 5” exhaust with Burns Ultra-Light SS muffler - ABM custom lower water neck - SP custom polished upper water neck - All braided 3an Teflon lines for boost controller - Braided 4an oil feed line - Braided 10an oil return Fuel and Intercooler: - Precision 165 lbs Injectors (6) - ABM Polished 10-an Fuel Rail - Weldon 2345A Fuel Pump (2000hp) - Weldon Fuel Filters (2) - Weldon FPR - Weldon Dial-A-Flow - All Braided lines - VW custom Fuel pick up for stock fuel tank - VW polished Intake Manifold - Hypertune Polished 4” TB with o-ring gasket - VW T6 Intercooler with Precision Bar and Plate core - VW 4” Polished charge pipe to TB - ABM 3.5” Custom piping from turbo to Intercooler - Dual Tial 50mm BOV’s Drivetrain: - Tilton Quad Disc Clutch - ABM Custom Chromoly DriveShaft - ABM DriveShaft loop - TRD LSD - AP Billet Aluminum bushing kit - C’s Short Shifter Electronic: - AEM EMS Version 2 - FJO Wideband O2 kit - HKS DLI - Apexi boost solenoid control by AEM Suspension, Wheels and tires: - Tein Mono Flex Coilovers - HRE Comp. The car has spoken for itself with respect to the quality of the build and combination of parts used. The car was only touch and worked by me “Tommy Banh” http://www.Autobanh.com and tuned by none other than the famous Justin Nenni http://www.tuningconcepts.com The car currently doesn’t have nitrous system installed, however, it can be installed if new owner would like to have it. In addition, the turbo setup can be downsized to a smaller turbo to fit the new owner’s needs. THE MOTOR IS BRAND NEW WITH ZERO MILES. IT COMES WITH THE NEW HD CARRILLO RODS, NEW CP PISTONS AND NEW BEARINGS. I want the new owner to have a new and fresh motor as I have been running on the last motor for many TX mile seasons. I have invested more than $90K not including the car and TOO MANY HOURS of labor. I’m asking for $130K OBO, serious buyer only. I’m willing to work with you on price and changing the setup to fit your needs Im willing to trade for *01-04 M3 Coupe Blk/Blk If you have any question about the car, you can contact me at [email protected] OR MY CELL 281-451-5381

jevansio
If i had lots of money id rather buy that for 80k than any other 80k car. I think my problem is I'd never buy anyone elses work, for me Supra's have to be done my way, I don't like the idea of buying into someone elses dream. But for £80k, I'd be buying a Gallardo and saving for a UGR upgrade

Abz
If only it was right hand drive..... Oh who am I kidding It is lovely and I am sure you won't find many £80k cars with that sort of Spec, Power & Condition as that. With only 11k on the clock, surely it is one of the lowest mileage Supra's around?
Miguel
I just pretend to have money mate:) That pretend money sure buys a lot I can appreciate the money and time that has gone into Tommy's car, but for 83K you could buy something with real racing history that would appreciate in value. That really is a money no object pi$$ it up the wall purchase.

If it was a £80k+ *replace with other jap rice machine* you prolly wouldn't feel the same way

alex2jz
Don't like the exterior. Would pay 100k+ ( pretending i was rich) for that spec with JamieP's exterior. Now that would break more hearts and bring more goosebumps than any 80k Gallardo out there.

If it was a £80k+ *replace with other jap rice machine* you prolly wouldn't feel the same way You are correct, though I would have thought something with Sub 15k on the clock & mile run of 247 would hold some value. Maybe not as much as £80k but surely it is the correct price bracket? That is about the same price as a Gallardo, which is pleasing on the eye has no match on power & driveability. "Cue Mr C Wilson" Words of a wise man, would be nice to hear his input.
