Ian W
Can anyone tell me how to permanently delete emails from the above app? It sync'd with my online account and now I'm stuck with hundreds of messages I can't seem to delete
Ian W
Sorted. Useless app means you can only delete them from your phone by logging into your account online and deleting them from there
MrRalphMan
My GMail app deletes my mails just fine from my account. Always has.
Ian W
My GMail app deletes my mails just fine from my account. Always has. On android? Check your 'trash' or 'google [trash]'...I thought mine were being deleted permanently but it turns out they're just shuffled about
MrRalphMan
Ah, that's just google mail for you. It doesn't have folders, just labels. So you could have one item, with three different labels and it would look like it's in three different folders. GMail just labels it trash and stores it away. Unless you have something really dodgy that you want to keep away from prying eyes, that's normally good enough for me. With the umpting Gigabytes available for storage from Google, you'll never run out of room.
