JamesG
Don't know if anyone else finds this, but it really pisses me off when you're waiting at a zebra crossing as a pedestrian and cars don't stop for you. Well this morning I was at one and the car on my side of the road stopped to let me cross. When I got halfway across it was obvious the car on the other side of the road either hadn't seen me or was ignoring me, despite me being in full view. So I decided to brake-test him....I waited til he was a bit closer, then stamped my foot as if I was about to run out. The dozy old bloke saw me at the last minute, slammed on his brakes and skidded to a stop. He then apologised to me. I probably shouldn't have done this, but it felt very good
Aerotop Dave
But equally you get people pressing the button, then crossing when there's a break in the traffic, and then we have to sit there at the red light waiting for the thing to finish beeping and there's no one crossing - the person is long gone. Kopite
it winds me up too, i swear a lot of people don't know why they're there!! what pisses me off also is the pedestrians - kids round here stand next to a crossing, car stops then the kids just stand there laughin. car goes to move away, then they feint to step out, car has to stop again, kids laugh and it repeats. they tried it on me when i was in the Golf, i didn't stop the second time
tbourner
People who walk out when the little man is red annoy me, yesterday there were 2 fat ladies crossing (really slowly) and my light had just gone green - someone was just flashing me to go in front of him as well and I had to sit there like a lemon cos there were 2 biffers in the road!!! An old bloke was about to step out as well but I gave a quick blast of 6" ful decat and he stepped back onto the pavement!!!
Elliot
From what I remember, unless they've started to cross (ie their foot is on the crossing) you don't have to stop. Bit mad really. If they're just standing there let 'em have NUR!
