colmcork
As the title suggests guys, are the various numbers/letters down beside my auto gear shifter supposed to be lit up? Sat into my soop last night and took notice for the first time that it was all in darkness, although the little 'manu' button was well lit up:)
Stonkin
Yes they should be lit up, i believe there is 1 bulb underneath which probably has a green condom style thing over it. You will need to remove that dash piece surround, it should be fairly obvious. 1 tip though, start by removing the ash try and i'm sure you will find a screw underneath that will need undoing first to get it out
jackso11
There is no screw under the ash tray, but it is best to remove the ashtray first, easier that way. Just pull that panel off, no screws.

Swampy442
Not sure on the Supra but on on other big Toyotas (Soarer, Aristo) you slide a cover down on the base of the gearstick, remove 2 screws, lift off the stick and the panel is just clipped in place.
