Tricky-Ricky
Had a cracking afternoon, bought the wife a big cat encounter for her birthday, we are both cat fans, and had a great afternoon being shown around an endangered species, big cat sanctuary and breading center, which is hoping to start a program of reintroducing future generations of big cats back into the wild. They are beautiful animal's and being that close to them is quite awe inspiring, my wife actually got to feed some of them tid bits of chicken and even managed a quick stroke. So here are a few pics for your enjoyment.

steve spedd
Does look good. I did this last month. Was it down in Kent at the breeding centre? A guy called Chris weston took a few of us round. We were able to get some great shots with the dslr's...

Missed that, link please? Its near a small village called Smarden in Kent, they only run encounter days to help fund the place, not open to the public. They have a fair selection, Lions, Siberian Tiger (thats the BIG boy feeding) Sumatran Tiger, Snow Leopard, Amur Leopard, Cheetahs, Serviles, Pumas, Lynx, and some strange looking small cats from the Himalayas called Pallas Cats. Martin J
Wow, great pics. Is that a Snow Leopard? The BBC docu on those was really good, wasn't sure how successful they were in captive breeding though.

Chris Wilson
Very envious, have always liked big cats, and have a hankering to get involved in a conservation programme one day.
