Guest kd3554
My window recently stopped going up and remained fully down, after taking the door panel off I found that the 2 cables that wound round the window regulator motor thingy had inter-twined and snapped. I have had a look at buying a new regulater but it doesn't say if it comes with the cables, can any one advise me on this ? If I purchase the regulater does it come with the cables or can i buy the cables seperatly as the motor and the regulater work fine, if i can what is the proper name for the cables so i can search for them. Please help as im getting quoted £240 for the regulater from Toyota and I know i can get that cheaper
merckx
A very common problem. You can buy the cable sub assembly for around £70. Part numbers: 69801-14111 ..... right regulator sub assembly 69802- 14111 ..... left regulator sub assembly
