gazzi123
Hi all, i thought i had slight shaft ware in gearbox as i get a slight grinding sound when clutch is not engaged. Now 1 out of 5 times i go into first (stopping at lights etc) there is a 'clonk' sound + has slight vibration through car. does any one know what this could be? ...gearbox recon?... cheers

pedrosixfour
It sounds more like the clutch release bearing or the clutch itself is a possible culprit.
