Boost controller solenoid location

Just fitted my greddy a solenoid last weekend. Mounted it on the bolt for the wastegate vsv. So it sits between the fan and the turbo. The pipes have to be kept as short as possible and mounted in a cool place. The pipes on mine ar 6-9" long and I figured that directly behind the fan would be nice and cool. Not sure how big/what shape the dual solenoid is, but mine seemed to fit perfectly.

Car isn't here at the moment, Possibly not the coolest place but has good airflow and just seemed to fit with a bit of tweaking to the bracket. The profec A also has 4 pipes and the routing worked well here for me. Kept the pipes as short as possible etc

Seems like a nice tidy place to me.

One thing to bear in mind though, that fan pulls cold air through the radiator to cool it. So by the time it comes out that size I would imagine it to be warm air.

Yeah I thought about that, but I figured that With the undertray under the car, bonnet closed, heat of the engine etc. there can't be many 'cool' places under there. It also needs to be close to the turbos which generate huge amounts of heat. so better to be in front of them with air flowing over it than between or behind. If you get me.
