Steviekid
Just to warn everyone not to buy anything from the user "oppjapparts". I bought a boost controller from him six weeks ago when he was trading under the name "op_performance", no longer registered, which has not (and never will) arrive. Had many b******t excuses and been given false tracking numbers etc and I know I'm far from alone as receiving e-mails from other conned customers. Still don't know how he managed to rack up a 100% rating of +100. Thinking of just turning up at his door soon but live the other end of the country
terawua
Apparently, its possible to hack accounts to give positive feedback. My cousin sold a graphics card to someone in Ukraine, who had loads of positive feedback, only for it to be sent and then the money not to arrive. Ebay investigated and the acount had been tampered with...

terawua
well actually nuttynutz I edited the story, but he was sending it on behalf of a friend (who programs for EA games and knows what he is doing) who told him that the deal was done and to post it. After it was sent everything went pear shaped - no worries though.
Steviekid
Cheers guys, that thread on the mazda forum actually gives me a bit of hope. He didn't accept paypal so sent a cheque (wasn't about to give my credit card number over the net) so not got any comeback. Steve
psymon
I had my account hijacked. I got email form the states, apparently I was selling brand new tractors for $4000 . I had a look at the listing and it was if I posted it. I edited the listing to tell people it was a hoax and mail bombed the B**tard. Then informed Ebay who removed the listing. Had to change my account password, email password etc etc.
Steviekid
Update: Finally got a refund! Only taken about ten weeks. Just a reminder to everyone not to buy anything from this guy. I hear he's still trying to trade and got an advert in Japanese Performance magazine now! May have another username on ebay by now so be wary of a seller based in warrington selling ecus/boost controllers etc.
