Josh
Not sure. I'm guessing if you're going for power you'd get it remapped so all depends on how much power it can make after being mapped rather than just stock power.
Swampy442
BMW 335d, chipped, fast. JohnnyG has a chipped up 535 and its puting out serious numberz
Bailey.
As above, I've driven a 09 330d and was hugely impressed! Didn't have the nasty diesel engine note either, 335 chipped would make great power and bundles of torque! Also may be to big but a vw toureg has q chunky diesel model to! ozz
BMW is the obvious choice, I'd also add the octavia (RS I think?). A guy in work has one and it goes well and gets great MPG. But with your budget, the BMW probably the best choice. If you want something different there is the 635d, but I think you'd have to up your budget for that. johnny g
You should get a 2004/2005 E60 535d MSport for that. Brilliant cars, I love mine. Call DMS for a remap and say hello to 344bhp and ~600lb/ft. 0-60 is just over 5.5s, but the midrange is blistering - around BPU levels for Supra.
