Scott
Any rear end shots? Always liked the front of the datsuns but in the same light i've always detested the rear. It's as if they put a lot of thought into the looks of the front then just put on what was left over for the rear.

Morpheus
Has anyone bought from these guys before? Ive enquired about this mr2 it looks sweet in the photos. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2078806.htm Hey, why not get an ST205 Celica GT Four? Same engine as this MR2 and 4WD. They even look like Supras from some angles. I was dead set on getting one before the Supra but saw an old Top Gear video with Jeremy Clarkson comparing it to an Escort Cosworth and the head and legroom were much better in the Escort. Otherwise I'd have bought one, I'm sure. He was looking particularly cramped in the Celica. Fwiw.

Yeah a few mates have them celicas and TBH they have much appeal to me, I prefer RWD to 4wd plus the celicas are tacky inside.
Morpheus
Yeah a few mates have them celicas and TBH they have much appeal to me, I prefer RWD to 4wd plus the celicas are tacky inside. You mean they don't have much appeal? Just remove the front driveshafts and tart up the interior. Tell you what though; they have a near mint RR Silver Shadow for £10k with only 43,000 miles! Be great for banger racing! Seriously though, ring them and ask if you've only emailed them so far. I personally don't like to trust people who can't spell things like 'marque' and instead say 'mark'. Doesn't mean that they're dishonest though. Just using the English but doesn't sound the same to me. I think you'd be fine. They have a nice range. Expect a younger owner though. Doesn't smack of mature gentleman to me. Again, not necessarily a problem.
Benyon
Wont the BHP be raised if I removed the front driveshafts? If I dont hear back from them by the end of tomorrow I will ring them up, even if it comes to them asking me to going down to view it (and them to view mine) I will still ring them. I would never buy a car from a place like that (except Jurgen), Because then usually buy a car from someone then sell it for more than its worth however I would consider a straight swap. p.s. I cant see where they miss spelled marque ive been looking at that page for 10 minutes now lol.
Morpheus
Wont the BHP be raised if I removed the front driveshafts? I was only joking but if the transfer case didn't mind, you'd presumably get more power to the rear. I don't know how it works on those and wouldn't seriously modify it, as I'd prefer AWD anyway. That's half the reason I was looking at them as I don't like being tail happy in the wet; too unpredictable for me with a turbo.
Benyon
I was only joking So was I lol, I dont loads about a cars mechanics but I do know the wheels wouldnt spin without the driveshafts hehehe.
jagman
Rather than get individuals opinions and picking a car , how about actually driving some of them , better all of them , then you will experience the differences. After this go and buy your soarer ....and pocket a few grand
Benyon
Rather than get individuals opinions and picking a car , how about actually driving some of them , better all of them , then you will experience the differences. After this go and buy your soarer ....and pocket a few grand Yeah I wanted to get individual opinions because most people on here are clued up on the cars they have owned in the past so I think its worth asking. I like all the cars I mentioned and I would like to own any of them, its trying to filter down on the best one for me. Ive looked through the soarers and the best ones have all gone. I may join a few clubs and see if anyone in the area could take me for a spin although the chance of people meeting up with someone who has only made 1 post is slim I bet.
