Benyon
I would like people with experience with these cars to vote and comment on which of this selection they would buy and for what reason's. Really I would like something with more poke than the N/A Supra however in my eyes the supra wins for looks outside & interior/driving position. EDIT: Me personally I would like to own a 300zx/fairlady, 2nd s14a, 3rd impreza, 4th mr2 & 5th s13.

Branners
MR2 turbo for me. Handling on them is superb, performance on the turbo is great and running costs are fairly low.

Yeah they're overall a cheap package for you get back on the road it seems. Altough the 300zx tt's seems quite cheap overall and I love BIG cars. supra n/a in white as thats just waht i did Yeah but bare in mind ive owned a supra N/A for almost 3 years, even though I love it every single time I sit in ready to drive it, change would be nice too, + my insurance is stinging me on my supra, I could insure an RX7 for half the the price im paying for the supra. Benyon
Never a black car again martin, I love the colour but it gets scratched so easy and I dont want to go through the stress again. Could anyone tell me which model this 300zx is? (its still not letting me embed youtube vids)
nevins
Well you can guess what I voted for lol. The 300zx are a nightmare for head gaskets and a pain to do them, they are also very dated. Impreza's if they have the gc8 in them are piston burners and they like to rot especially the filler neck. MR2 is a girly car and not practical at all. martini
Never a black car again martin, I love the colour but it gets scratched so easy and I dont want to go through the stress again. Black for me, possibly RSP Supra too. They're my favourite There's a nice 300zx in Kill Bill vol. 1 actually, driven by Sofie Fatale: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/7739/killbillnissan2gp4.jpg It's something I would certainly consider, but then Supras are just so awesome I don't know if I could buy anything else for the same money Embed like this, dude: OUChg6fdy4k
Gambit
Mr2 rev3..... 1 was the box 2 was a curved version and 3 was the last they did wasn't it? this Mr2 mk3?... behind the supra. http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/7741/dsc00084e.jpg They were all 1.8 VVTi no turbo 138 bhp Good and nippy like a go-cart but girly and I kept banging my elbow on the door card when steering hard. Edit. Why not a TT Supra?
jagman
None of the above!! Soarer TT as they are 1 well built 2 cheap as chips 3 plenty of used spares 4 fast 5 quiet, smooth ,refined 6 corner well ,balanced and good grip 7 well appointed with goodies 8 cheap 9 comfortable and have 2 rear seats and large boot space 10 easy to tune with much available knowledge 11 well matched gearbox/engine combo 12 did I mention cheap
Benyon
@ Nevins, I meant what year is that one, They had facelift models but I dont know if that one is facelift or pre? @ Gambit, I didnt mean the mk3 mr2, I meant the rev3 which Ive read is around 94reg, I think its the quickest one out of the mk2's. P.S. I dont like the new mr2s/mr-s They look abit girly for me. @ Jagman, I just tried a quote on one of them soarer TT's, £800 insurance, my insurance now is £1600 on the N/A:blink: I will have a look into them but im only 5 foot 10 so I really dont need a big car (interior wise). Neil-NA
Benyon, if you want to try a manual NA let me know and you can have a play in mine. I know the autos are good but im sure you would feel more involved in the drive if you went for the manual. If you are looking at an mr2 tubby then let me know as my mate is selling a turbo one with forge'd engine, hybrid turbo etc for under 3k im sure we can get a test drive arranged. Nic
MR2 Turbo Rev 3 for me, quick, well handling car for the money.
sams
i would pic the impreza,, i dont like the look of the nissans, the supra would be a contender but would have to be a tt, and the mr2 well i dont like small cars lol
Supra Gaz
Rev3 is a nice car, light, well balanced, quite powerful and can look very nice. A bit common maybe though? Scoobs have a reputation (as Nevin said) to rot but they are god damn quick. I have driven a couple of 300's, the interior isn't nearly as nice as a supra and running costs can be daft, a friend of mine had serious on-going problems with his untill he sold it and bought a Soarer with a 1jz tt which he loves. I vote supra! In short, they are flipping awesome
Supra Gaz
Ooo, how about an S14 with a strawberry S15 front end conversion?
Benyon
@ Gambit, Dont get me wrong I would like to stay in a supra but im not paying what the insurance companys want, I've been trying quotes left right & centre for my supra and the cheapest is £1600. I could get insured on a UK TT supra for £750 but im not spending 9k buying one just because its rare, I would only have the import version. All the cars i have mentioned (apart from supra) I can get insured between £700 and £1000. Skylines are the worst, each model is over 2k but mainly getting quotes for 4k upward, otherwise I would have put the R33 up. @ Neil, I would have to sell my car before getting another one but your mates mr2 sounds like a good buy for less than 3k, The only reason I would like an mr2 is for the noise of the engine/turbo behind your head:d But Im not 100% on the looks of them, + room for someone in the back would be a benefit to me. Benyon
@Supra gaz, you could say that again;) The 300's have a shocking interior design but they look good in full leather, That would be a must have for me. I like the s14's and all but with one thats had a front end conversion I would be put of by the fact I dont know who's doen the work ect ect. Benyon
If you want to test drive his mr2 i will give him a shout. I would rather be a passenger in one for now but yeah that would be cool if you could sort something out, would only take 10 minutes for me to get the picture. Morpheus
Just voted for the Supra manual in white, as I owned a MKIII for 7 years. My ideal vehicle is a GMC Typhoon as they're practical, fast as f*** off the line and extremely rare, even in America. It's the black SUV. Only downside is fuel consumption but no worse than my Supra. We'll see when I get the Typhoon engine back together! This is worth a laugh if nothing else! Enjoy! bqO6uZ0ZhX8
