jonny248
My mate own's a Paintball site and he's trying to get some events organised and to increase the popularity. He's offering an outstanding deal on Sunday 3rd October for a day's paintballing, cost is £25 per head. This includes site entrance, full kit hire and 1000 paintballs. Anyone who has played before will know this is a fantastic price, normally a site will sell 100 balls for around £6-£7. I know it's short notice but i thought i'd offer this to people on here as it'd be a great day for people to get together, have a laugh and socialise a bit. If anyone has any input, feel free to post up. I know one or two people will and i know TOM S might have his little say, he usually does...... lmao. aman00123
That's a fantastic price mate, just went paintballing last weekend and ended up spending about £60 for 1000 paintballs plus £10 for entry with 100 paintballs.....

The Restorer
Where is this? Does he have a website set-up yet?
jonny248
It's just outside of Belsay, Northumberland. A few mile north Newcastle Airport. Just text him, website is http://www.universalpaintball.co.uk
aman00123
I might be up for that like, shall see how many people I can muster for a short notice paintballing session! We taking supra's along?
jonny248
Yeh why not!! There is on-site parking, i've taken mine up there a few times. It's on gravel and is a bit lumpy but as long as you're careful, should be ok. My Supra's lowered and it's still ok up there. See how many you can get, should be a laugh. I just hope we can get a decent turn out and take advantage of this offer.

Tom S
How many can they cater for? If you get enough interest you may need to tell some people it is sold out. Good luck though:eyebrows:
aman00123
According to their website they can cater for a group as big as 150 people iirc, just split them down to smaller groups but biggest single group I think was 75 people, so pretty big

jonny248
I've seen them with groups of 150+ so I know they can do it. There's no limits for this weekend so get as many people as we can really. As for times, we'd be looking at arriving for around 9am'ish and it would last pretty much all day, usually about 4-4:30pm or until you've had enough. I suppose it depends how much paint you buy really and how long we have daylight for. I know during the summer months when i've been up there, they've played right through till 6-7pm. Do we have anyone interested ??

Stevo
'fraid I'm going to have to give this a miss Jonny. Like I said in my text last week, just too much family stuff going on this weekend (Dad's 60th today) so there's loads to be done and drunk. Another time though mate...
