Sharpie
Hi, I have emailed CW, Paul W, Leon and Justin for quotes for RLTC and will be in contact with RL this afternoon. Who can you recommend ? I would like to know your story and experiences :-) PM me if not on here. Also, where is the best spot to have the control box ? Should I hide it out of the way ? (Glove box ?) Thanks for any response
GavinL
I'm sure any of those guys are capable of fitting it. It isn't rocket science at the end of the day. I have my controller in the glove box. I don't tend to change the setting very often, I suspect most people don't after the first week. Guest Martin F
I can fit this for you, but i'm probably not your best option being in Essex. The best mounting for the controller is to take it all out of the box and try to integrate it into the dash. This has been done on mine, by either Leon or Racelogic (not exactly sure who fitted mine), and i have also done this on Keith C's car (Doughies old Supe). If you want to go for an easy option and just keep the box all together maybe the centre console would be a good idea as you don't need to make adjustments often. Syed Shah
Martin, do you have any pics of your setup? Thanks

SMW
Pete When I was last at Leon's a couple of weeks ago I asked him about RLTC and he can definitely fit. He was talking about organizing a group buy as he had another person interested. I really want to get this on my car ASAP so I'll give him a ring later and try and get some idea about cost. MONKEYmark
i got mine fitted at race logic for £185. he asked me where i wanted it mounting and i said i am not too sure.so he put me an extra long lead on it.i did not want a square box on dash, i have since put mine in the center console box out of the way, also got the clifford pc connection in there too. have seen some installs flush fitting against dash that look ok. Sharpie
It would be nice to use the dash lights dimmer button as the control button and then get someone like http://www.abgraphics.co.uk/ to make up a special sticker to be placed around the dimmer button. I will not have the Launch as I have an AUTO. Cheers SMW sounds good! Martin, It would be good to see some photo's of yours
SimonB
Does anyone know the dimensions of the control box ? I'm moving some stuff in my dash soon, so it would be nice to make sure I've got room for one somewhere while I'm at it - RLTC is definitely on the shopping list
Dragonball
Mine is just velcro'ed to the left of the steering column 'out the way' Have to say - and I think that racelogic should be asked - the presentation of this 'knob' is not very aesthetic and very 'old fashioned' Why not a blue LED display on black background etc - could be done without fear of accidentally switching etc Just my twopenneth! Barnstormer
I too want to get RLTC fitted in the new year and I recognise some of the names/places mentioned in an earlier post but who is Leon? As I live in W Sussex I wanted someone not too far away to fit it as my skills are limited. I could approach a local auto electrician but again not sure if this is a good idea. Any advice appreciated. ATB Barnstomer j-spec 97 auto TT

JamesG
I'm interested in getting RLTC in the new year too. I like the sound of a group buy to get some money off it. Is anyone else thinking of getting it? James.

I did my own installation onto the Integra with no wiring pinout or wiring diagrams (apart from one showing how to install a VTEC controller)
