Tyre pressures?

Recommended Posts

Stock tyre pressures on a UK spec are 36 front and 36 rear, I use the same pressures in my 10 x 19 fronts and 11.5 x 19 rears and am quite happy with tyre wear etc.

You'll get lots of varying opinions on this topic and will probably be more confused than before you asked :D

Might as well resurrect this thread

Does anybody know what Steve and Paul Whiffin run in time attack; I am sure they will know the correct pressure after all the laps they have put in!

Nic, do you have the Toyota Service Data for the Alignment ; the image got cut off ;) thanks! (maybe make it a sticky)

36 PSI Hot all round so approx 33/34 from cold for rd use

Track pressures will be a little differant as they will gain more pressure due to the tyres and brakes

working much harder than on the rd

Thanks Dunk, I was putting in 36 after a 30min run to the Garage , I will drop to 34

I got new tyres the weekend and the fitter said I should be running 30, I said toyota told me 36 , he siad a range rover runs that. Thats great but my car is a Toyota Supra!

From what I can see my rears are wearing evenly, my fronts however are not bad for 5 years but I am getting the tracking checked
