David Reid
During work to get my new BW turbo on I had to redo my blanking of the cast aluminium top water elbow. Basically I previously tapped and threaded the water feeds and blanked them off. This time I needed more clearance, so have welded them up. To prevent damage to the two water sensors (EMS and intrument pack) I removed them prior to welding. Unfortunately the smaller one (instrument) sender snapped. I have a new one coming from Paul at Whifbits but before it arrives I would like to retap it and refit the elbow to the car. (as I am aiming to get the car mapped on Tuesday) Does anyone know the instument temp sensor thread size?, it looks M10 but I am not sure what pitch?
