paddy155
Anyone know the best place to look. I know about dvla but is there any others that are legit ?
AndrewOW
The DVLA personal registrations website. That's where I got mine from. HTH.
Matt H
It's rare that you'd need to go anywhere else apart from the DVLA really. It's only the super special (high price) ones that you will need to look further for. Pay another company for a plate and they will most likely just buy if off the DVLA on your behalf at that point then add their charge to it. The DVLA have auctions from time to time too. I bidded on M4TTY four years ago when it was up for auction. My top bid was £5k. It went for ~£10k.
edge
As said try dvla first. I made the same mistake but cancelled my order when i then looked on the doovla

Stan
Reg Transfers are quite good as well The DVLA is fine for plates they own and are selling on (or old year letter ones that have gone out of circulation), but there are loads out there where companies like elite act as the middle man between the current owner and yourself, so they have quite a lot of stock. Westcoaster
For low price registrations, you can't beat the DVLA. I have two similar plates on my two cars with my initials for £250 each including the transfer costs.
Purity14
My plate on both occasions were advertised cheaper elsewhere, but after their 'fees' the regs from the dvla turned out cheaper, £200 cheaper in one case..!

I think you need to show yours for comedy value....
Matt H
The bottom line is look over the DVLA first, if you can't find what you're looking for there, then only then look at other brokers.
