Geo
Right, As the car was in today to get a geo and suspension set up, i was told that the N/S/F shock is leaking. So im wondering what my options are here?? Iv emailed tein UK to see if they can repair the shock, just waiting on a reply? or do i just replace the whole lot and be done with it? Now as there is loads of other suspension kits out there now, im wanting some feed back on what you guys are running etc. Be using the car a fast street set up, and some odd track days. Defo be running Coil Overs though cheers guys

Homer
Tein do offer a rebuild service I seem to remember. Yep. Although I've read a quite a few complaints about them not being able to service Japanese spec Tein units, google them first and check they can service your suspension before sending anything off. Edit, price and services list: http://www.tein.co.uk/product/products_support.html and http://www.tein.co.uk/price/other/oh_revalving_basic_price.html

tDR
Sounds like the nearside rear wheel has been whacked off a kerb in an 'incident' at some point to cause that Something bent? Shocks wise I've never rated teins as I've had and so many people I know have had leaky ones. Build quality seems shite tbh Can't polish a turd an all that - get a decent quality set IMO but regardless you'll need another geo setup after all the work is done Longevity wise it's hard to beat Billsteins but if you want height adjustability then you'll need a custom set with matched springs from Chris Wilson - regarded as an excellent setup with decent handling whilst maintaining ride quality. I rate the HSD coilovers for handling with ride quality from my own experience with them but can't comment on their longevity given I didn't have the car long post fitment. Cheers, Bri. ^^ As per other thread mate, no point pissing about with Tein rebuilds IMO you'll just end up with more hassle especially if you only do one or two. Geo
yeah cool bud, might just stay away from them this time, will see what else is about. HSD coil overs i might have a look at, and also the blisteins like you said
