Dave
Just watched this on bbc1 with the mcgregor brothers, very good . whilst watching and listening to the surviving pilots and the work they put in, im wondering how many of us would have stepped up to join the RAF and and be a pilot in those days .me for one i would not have hesitated a second. because of those guys we are what we are today . the spitfire must be the greatest and most iconic fighter plane of all time. so top respect to the few

RobD
I was at the battle of Britain airshow at duxford a couple of Saturdays back, the sight of 13 to 14 spitfires coming over and acting out a dog fight was quite something
peter richards
total respect , i think the average age was about 19, and for guys that young to do what they did day after day is quite amazing .
