Time for and update??? Hell yes!!

A bit over due i know, but TBH iv only just really started work on it!

Before i go on, id just like to thank some sponsors for there ongoing support and help, with out them, none of this would be possable!

Falken tyre Europe

EPracing

ACT

Drifted

Pipercross

SFS performance

Zircotec

Hel

Rota/Rarerims

HPI racing Europe

So this is what iv been up to!

Turbo came appart for an inspection and to send the exhaust housing off to Zircotec for coating.

Its still very clean in there, a testement to the filteration control of Pipercross filters

ACT have supplied us with heavy duty single plate clutches, this one is rated to 900ftlb and has my name on it!

Due to the back of the car now being chopped off, some controll over the smoke entering the cabin is needed, iv used alloy tape, its very fast, cheap and effective.

For box sections, expanding foam was used

I then trimmed off more metal and tidied up some of the edges

I then set about mounting the rad in the boot

Mean while!!!

The moulds are now set and released from my spare shell!! they just need waxing up and finishing off now, should be only a few weeks now until i have my one piece ends!

The moulds are in 4 sections for each end, what you see in these pics all bolts together to make one big mould.

Im also upgrading from the R154 to the v160 gearbox, alot of hunting and way too much money handed over, here it is

image

Trial fitted

image

Gear stick falls in exact right place

image

Then the task of planning a prop, not as simple as you may think as i need to incorperate a slip joint as the v160 has a bolted rear output flange unlike most other boxs

image

Oh, and this is what the front end looks like ATM!
