Suprab1
Ok lads can someone clear something up for me as i'm a little confused. I was wanting to buy stuff but to be fair i was to slow to see it. Now i don't want this getting all bitchy but i think if you PM someone you should atleast post PM sent or whatever on the forsale thread to let people know where in the cue they are. A few times i thought i was first to want to buy something & next thing "oh sorry this is sold to someone else who PM'd me first". What do you think shoud there be some sort of unwritten rule that we should atleast let others know we've PM'd someone? Or maybe it's just me? TopgunTT
I know which thread you are on about. I always send the seller a pm first, Money talks.
jevansio
Which thread?
TopgunTT
Which thread? I think it was the engine dress/bling thread for sale.
Nic
Should be down to the seller who he wants to sell to, after it's sold they should update the thread to say so.
Dnk
I think it should all be done in the thread, then theres no issue for anyone, why would pm ing the seller get any quicker responce. All it does is piss people off when you think your in at the front of the que. Okay if theres a phone number then it would pay to call the seller but pm ing sucks regarding sale items. imi
Should be down to the seller who he wants to sell to, exactly....whats all this about CUE, etc.....doesnt work like that in the real life.
Dnk
Surely if you respond first and say you will buy the item for sale at the price offered then it should be you that gets it ?
Dnk
Should be down to the seller who he wants to sell to. You are joking aren't you ?
Harry Sachs
I reckon it works both ways, if you want something that bad then I use any means available to get what I want, But when the shoes on the other foot and I get pipped for something I still get pissed. Swings and Roundabouts. If there was a rule stating that all sales interaction should be public, then I would abide by it. Until then though, if something I need comes up for sale I will do my upmost to get my hands on it.
Gaz6002
You are joking aren't you ? Why? There are several people on here I'd not want to deal with again after previous experiences.
Dnk
Why? There are several people on here I'd not want to deal with again after previous experiences. Obviously if you've had a problem with someone then yes its up to you if you wish to risk selling to the person again.

It's a Club not a dictatorship, how on earth would you enforce a rule like that? Everyone has a chance to buy what's on offer, but just like in the real world, the seller's decision is final. I've missed out on a few things, but hey, that's life, you just gotta keep login on to the forum and contributing.
merckx
I think it should all be done in the thread, then theres no issue for anyone, why would pm ing the seller get any quicker responce. It makes a lot of sense to have everything out in the open so everyone involved will know what's happening.
Jamesy
I think its fine as it is, Its no big deal, its not as if buying these parts are life or death. This forum's layout is very free flowing compared to others which are very strict and non contributing

Suprab1
Yeah i agree that it's ok to PM. What i'm trying to say though is it would be better if you have PM'd then just post PM'd on the thread so people don't think they are going to be in with a shot if there is 5 people before them. I also agree it's upto the seller if they have a problem with someone. But a few times i've thought i was getting something then read later that day that it's now sold.
