Suprab1
I'm having a little trouble with my Karcher power washer. When i'm holding the trigger down it will wash for a while & then it starts cutting in & out as if i'm pulling & letting go the trigger. This will happen for about 15 seconds then it comes back perferct but will happen again after a couple of mins. The power washer is about 5 years old but i don't want to buy a new one if this is a easy fix (plus it cost me over €500). What do you think? pedrosixfour
It sounds like the filter in the water inlet pipe (the feed to the tank) might be blocked. Open the cold water feed pipe where its connected to the machine itself and there should be a little filter that you can pull out and clean. scotty71
Low water pressure feed. Mine does this if the other half puts the washing machine on (low water pressure here) when the washer takes on water my karcher like cuts out till the washer does its bit and Im on full boost again

Do i have to open the plastic casing (basicly split the washer in 2)? Low water pressure feed. pedrosixfour
No mate, there should be a fitting you can unscrew where the pipe coming from the tap is connected to the machine.
gazzi123
I always have this problem with my pressure washer - what i normally do is switch it on and hold trigger down (not pointing towards car) for about 15seconds - this will help clear anything that cloging it + then it works perfectly. also could have something to do with your water pressure

I know the one but i think mine is just the same as the thing that screws onto the tap & then the hose clips onto it. Don't think there is a filter there. I have taken the one out of our washer dozens of time at this stage for the very same problem you described.

When i'm finished i turn off machine press trigger to get the pressure out & turn off the tap whilst holding the trigger to get out all water.
