gjp
Has anyone changed there std mirrors for the electric folding ones. I have the switch and and sockets for the switch and mirrors as well but the wiring into the std mirrors is different. Has anyone done this? Matt Harwood
ye, I've done it twice. However, the last time I did it was about 5 years ago, so I'm afraid my information is now limited. If I recall correctly, you need to wire them up with a couple of relays in the same way as you would a central locking motor, reverse polarity. The first one took me a couple of hours to do, as I was working out how to do it, the next time, it only took about an hour, and most of that was fitting the mirrors! Good luck
