spiderpigcity
i have a a v161 box from a 97 n.a. i am converting my auto tt 95 to manual using this box. do i need to change the flywheel on my auto ? and will the clutch plate in the v161 be ok for the power? or did they use a different clutch in the v161 na to the v161 tt any ideas cheers matt
JODY T
the auto doesnt have a flywheel as such, I fitted a TT to my 6speed NA with no problems on a stock clutch, but i did eventually kill it.. not the clutches fault it was mine, just swap everythign over from the NA to the TT.. gazzi123
i was always told that the clutch should be ugraded - as in the end will kill it. But thats what ive been told by a few mechanics + specialists (as im going through process from NA to TT in January) ...my personal view is to always slightly over engineer when doing upgrades, so you know that every part can handel what its been put through with ease....
