I've only had My Supra andmy first car which was a 98 Mitusibish Colt that had the 1.6 MIVEC engine. The colt was a great car, fast due to its weight but down on power than that claimed by Mitsubishi. They claimed 172BHP, but the dyno plot I had done showed 152BHP.

1. BMW 535d remapped. 334bhp and almost 600lb/ft and returns 37mpg on the motorway. Love it.

2. BMW E46 M3. Didn't have it that long, but I loved the raw noise of it on full throttle. Needed a bit more oomph for a weekend car though.

3. Toyota MR2 Turbo - V6 Turbo car that is now RIP'ing.

Fiat Uno Turbo - complete rot box, awfull interior and dodgy on corners, but god was it light and boy did it shift once it was boosted up and had the intercooler strapped. Hit the rev limiter in 5th :innocent: upset a lot of more expensive cars, and finally used its excellent crumpling properties to save its driver when the front end crumpled nicley into the back of another car cushioning the impact, and ending the cars life in the process.

Haven't seen this thread before.

The pictures are on film in a box in the attic but here's some of my old favourites;

Sunbeam Rapier Holbay 1725

Ford Capri Mk1 3.4 V6

Mini 1300GT

These were all highly modified and the Capri made 245bhp and a very fast car for the time.

Blimey that is impressive for a Capri, How did you go round corners? You must have been one of the early drifters with BHP like that on a Capri chassis:D

Must have had to jump out to be able to stop at the location he wanted also. Have you ever tried braking in one of those things :blink:

Awesome cars though, I've always had a softspot for them.

The reg was GNU and it was known as 'The Animal', engine bored out 6mm balanced hardened and flowed with David Newman camshaft, 32DGAS Weber carb, Jaguar Overdrive mated onto rear of Ford box, one piece prop, Spax shocks, R.S. uprated springs, bars, brakes etc.

It was originally built by Mike Smith of KMB Motorsports Wellingborough in days of old, I bought it from him and tweaked it some more.

Before the invention of walkie-talkies, VASCAR and speed camera's, I used to race Porshe Carrera turbos on the M1 and had a few mph top speed more which used to really **** them off. :)
