Here's mine:

1. Austin Mini - was my first car and still own it, although it's now hugely modified and sports a 120bhp 1380 n/a motor.

2. Supra - bought this one fully modified, was a T61 single turbo running 553 bhp, fastest thing I've ever owned, or been in for that matter.

3. Escort RS Turbo 1990 spec - first introduction to turbo's and what fun I had. Before moving on this had been charged cooled, compression lowered, cam'd etc and was making 210 bhp (was rapid for a car only weighing 1 tonne).

Pics of the Mini and Supra can be seen in my garage.

Id have to say

UK spec TT supra. I was just so smooth, to the point i thought the 2nd turbo was broken....then you look and see the MPH.

My current aero just for the work that has been put in on it and the laughs that went along the way.

And my mk2 rev1 Mr2.........in the wet it was slightly insane to say the least. My first real sports car.

I've had loads of old bits and bobs.....can't find pics of some tho, I had a Renault 5 Campus with the 1.7 engine transplant when i was 18 and it had 13 inch steelies so spun like a mother, body was of dents and knocks, but the thing just kept goin...

then i had a 21 Quadra, went like stink, including when i left outside a mates house......fookin tea leaves!

I also had some R5 GTT's which were always having to be rebuilt...

When i first bought my house i had to chop in my Megané Coupé on throttle bodies, 1.6 152bhp, i bought this!

It was a brand new 1.4 Corolla, T2, now i know its not the most glamourous car but i loved this car, i lowered it, TTE rear exhaust, TTE Spoiler and 17inch rims, looked ok, went......kind of ok....then i added new 17 inch black rims later, first i knew of them round here!

image

please excuse the rear lamps....

And then my 2nd T Sport, i adored this car and wish i never sold it, various mods had it RR @ 218bhp using only bolt on mods

image

I had a Compresser Supercharged Corolla after that, not my favourie after this happened!

image

Now on my first Supra TT and i love it.....its a work in progress but I hope to get there sooner than later!!

Wow, there's some nice cars popping up in this thread! I feel like the forum pauper with my car CV...

Not including my supra, I have only ever owned 3 other cars, so....

1) 1993 British Racing Green Rover Metro 1.1S. 60bhp I think. The S is very important: it stood for Sport, or so I liked to believe. It had red seat belts. Manual choke, allergic to wet weather (the HT leads are very exposed on these engines, and they get damp easily)

2) 1993 pale green Rover Metro 1.1. It kindly blew the head gasket, thus giving me a golden opportunity to learn about the insides of a cylinder head. Previously I'd only changed oil+filter, plugs, air filter and thermostat so it was a learning curve.

3) Curently own a 1999 mk4 Fiesta, 1.25 litre.

I've only had three road cars in the 14 years I am driving. Legally.:innocent:

My first was a '89 Nissan Bluebird with what I think was a factory fitted bodykit. God I loved that car, if you took the headrests off the front seats the interior could be converted into a lounge with a U shaped couch with a table in the middle for an ashtray!

It even had a purple tint in the interior light to set the mood!!

I had to get rid of it because it usually refused to start in damp weather!:D

Second car was a '97 Mazda 626 with only 29,000 miles on it when I bought it. It was a 'sensible' buy but I never really warmed to it like I did the Bluebird. I rolled it one morning in the woods at about 10 mph after a night of 'courting'.:eyebrows:

There wasn't a panel on the car that didn't get a thump yet the glass sunroof stayed intact. The car cost me €10,000 the year before, a breaker gave me €500 after the alterations to the shape.

Had my current car within a week of that fiasco, a '97 Honda Prelude. I've been driving it since '04 and apart from a pair of handbrake cables and a caliper the car has been faultless. It's reliability was the main reason I went mad and fitted the lairy kit to it (pictures in my profile). Although I know there are faster, more useful cars to be had I've yet to see one I would be completely happy to trade the Prelude for.

Thats it so far.

I do actually own a Supra but it's a track car.

I only had two cars the Toyota Treuno and the Supra, for a daily driver, reliability, and just value for money the Treuno is great value but for sheer power/presence the Supra; I couldnt really choose between them, one think I do miss is the 8500rpm Limit

Treuno

My First Car was a Toyota Treuno AE111 BZR 1600cc 20V ; she was quick for a 1.6, it was around when the first Fast and Furious installment came out, when my Friend took me for a spin in his it was the first time I ever experianced the NOS effect of everything getting Blurred. First car I every felt myself pinned to the seat

AE111 came in Two Variants ; Levin (Lighting) And Treuno (Thunder), only difference was cosmetics , mainly the rear light lenses but Treuno is more famously associated to the AE86 Model, 4AGE 20V is a master piece of engineering and 8500 rpm Limit

Without sounding big headed I have yet to see a Treuno as nice as Mine was, would love to buy her back; come on Lotto

Supra

This all happened on a Sunny Day in Ireland(it is hard to believe); I was having an Espresso(As the Supra Gentleman does), as rare as these cars are in Ireland, a stunning red Supra hummed by; It was at that time I made my decision to get a Supra over going to OZ for a year; not knowing anything about the cars I always wanted one and remember seeing one for sale back when I was 17, always said I would get one.

Not every sat in the car let alone drove it , I ordered one. I found a picture of the Black TRD car with over 1000 bhp for sale on SupraStore, this was my bench mark for what I wanted(Cosmetic wise). I did not have a clue about a TRD Supra but 8 months later we sourced a TRD and a few tweaks (facelift indicators, Wheels) I got my vision of what a Supra should look like.
