Valve cap stolen.

I had this happen a few times, then decided to buy some anti theft ones from Halfords... big mistake! It worked well and it seemed the kids couldn't get it off but when I went to loosen it using the key they provided the other shell of the thing just came off!

Then had to use appliers to get the damage things off, now I am using normal value caps, kids don't like them.

A few months back I watched some young lad park his bike against the wall, casually walk up to my Supra and proceed to remove my TRD cap, then fit them to his BMX. I tried to run downstairs but he was spooked and scarpered before he could remove the second. Funny thing was, as he raced off on his bike he actually turned around and shouted "Nice car Mr"

That kinda through me off guard as on one had I wanted to ring his scrawny neck, but on the other I appreciated the nice comment! LOL

The last metal set i had i decided to just nick them a bit tighter with some plyers to keep the bmx boys away, due to the metal and them getting slightly warm they pretty much welded themselves on, as i found out when checking the tyres for air :)

Gave up on shiny valve caps after that, black plastic ones are fine :)

I remember years ago when I had my first car a silver Peugeot 309, I was dead pleased with it and spray painted the black bumpers, wing mirrors and door handles silver to match the rest of the car :D I thought to myself what else would make this car even more amazing? So I purchased some chrome valve caps. They lasted about a month on there when some pikey kid must've stolen them for his bmx, as only 2 were missing. I ended up just putting some plain boring black ones on..... and my Pug 309 AKA the Silver Bullet ;) was never the same again. So I'm sorry to hear yours have gone missing too, I feel your pain :(

Yup, same story. I had some Titanium ones shaped like pistons. They wre very good as the little piston ring slots would slice my fingers even while just putting them on. So hopefully a few scrotes got "striped" trying to nick them.

Of course, Ti always binds so I had to destroy the valves to replace them but they were never stolen, so I feel I had a victory over the petty criminal world.
