Dash Rendar Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 My car used to reach 1.4 bar with the EBC set to around 50% duty. But now it only hits 1.2 bar, regardless of how high I set the EBC. Ryan and Darryl are of the opinion the wastegate spring is at fault and needs replacing. It's been like that for about a year or so, but I don't really mind running at 500bhp (which is what it dyno's at with 1.2 bar). But the car has a service coming up, and I thought this might be a good opportunity to put in a new spring. Darryl wasn't sure if the springs are interchangeable between wastegates (mine is the XS Power), so he suggested I post up a thread here. Can anyone tell me what I need, or a source? Thanks. I've actually found spare springs at the XSPower website, but the springs don't list what size wastegate they're designed for. I've dropped them an email...
