Anyone put any of this stuff in with a full tank? If so is it any good?

 

Supposedly makes fuel cleaner etc.

 

I use optimax anyway but is it worth adding this every now and again?

i thought that stuff just cleaned the injectors etc and didnt affect fuel

If you use optimax then i wouldnt of thought there would be any reason to add more fuel cleaner.

kwikfit sell a £20 engine cleaner it comes in a can with a ringpull cant remember the name but you need 80 to 95 litres of petrol to run it.

really strong stuff used to clean and bring down immisions. i used it over a tank and a half felt the effects after 40 to 50 miles.

red ex only cleans fuel injectors and they get dirty again without the engine clean;)

I'll tell you what - it burns pretty damn well!!

i used it once on an xr3i and a valve spring snapped the same day so i blamed redex and never used it again. i did get some good flames from the exhaust till i replaced it though

mines been off the road for a year but when i was running i put red x in every other fill up just using normal unleaded and ive not had any problems

Iirc a member used it before he went to his mot as it made emissions better? and it killed the engine for a small time, dont use those things, supra engines are strong, just use normal fuel.
