:dWell over three years of hard usage everday hours on end it finally gave up lol. Sony offered to send me a replacement for 130 fully refurbed, so I decided to go along until the new unit comes out in couple weeks. At least so they give me 3 month warranty and delivered with vat costs of that price, not bad eh? 1 day without COD I'm going to suffer

I'd love to see you walk for the first time Jazz1. I'm frankly amazed you made it onto this forum...... or did your Dad show you how to get here?

You seriously don't know about the PS3 fixes, the PS3 warranties or the fact that you can get Sony to replace your PS3 with a brand new one for free? There are so many threads about it on here it is beyond belief that you have missed every single one of them. The safe money says you have even been a part of some of them.

I would call you naive if I thought for one second you knew what it meant. You, my friend, are quite frankly as thick as 2 short planks :p

Well thanks for your idiotic response but my playstation was bought in 2003 making it way past its warranty stage. Now thick I maybe but success is something most brainy idiots like you don't have at my age. So yes I am what you say I am, but you are what makes me, so carry on seeing this smiley face my thick cells make me success:d

Fantastic, sounds like you have it all figured out.

Your PS3 is still covered though.

Well mine played very well everyday and was abused alot in terms of hours:)

Annoying it's given up the ghost, does that mean you lose all your saved game data? The 1st PS3's were great as they have ports for inserting your memory card from cameras etc :) I take it yours had that too like mine?

Depending on the fault you can just transfer the HDD AFAIK. If not, you can get around it by other means.

So when you bought your PS3 in 2003, did you sell the plans to Sony?

Just wondering where the success came from. Or was it your time machine?
