jazz1
:dWell over three years of hard usage everday hours on end it finally gave up lol. Sony offered to send me a replacement for 130 fully refurbed, so I decided to go along until the new unit comes out in couple weeks. At least so they give me 3 month warranty and delivered with vat costs of that price, not bad eh? 1 day without COD I'm going to suffer

Thorin
What "new unit"? I didn't think £130 was worth it either, and just went out and bought a PS3 Slim.

Thorin
I believe there's a 320GB version coming out, but the bigger hard disk is the only difference. Japan get a white and a blue one though I believe.

Scott
I'd love to see you walk for the first time Jazz1. I'm frankly amazed you made it onto this forum...... or did your Dad show you how to get here? You seriously don't know about the PS3 fixes, the PS3 warranties or the fact that you can get Sony to replace your PS3 with a brand new one for free? There are so many threads about it on here it is beyond belief that you have missed every single one of them. The safe money says you have even been a part of some of them. I would call you naive if I thought for one second you knew what it meant. You, my friend, are quite frankly as thick as 2 short planks

Scott
So when you bought your PS3 in 2003, did you sell the plans to Sony? Just wondering where the success came from. Or was it your time machine?
KamaSupra
Well mine played very well everyday and was abused alot in terms of hours:) Annoying it's given up the ghost, does that mean you lose all your saved game data? The 1st PS3's were great as they have ports for inserting your memory card from cameras etc I take it yours had that too like mine?

KamaSupra
or get too excited playing it and "gunk" it up:blink: Another way it could possibly get gunked up is by using the playstation to go on the Internet. As I hear that you can view porn on the PS3, like I said that's what I hear but never looked myself
