jackso11
I unplugged this today and the clip/plig on the wire fell to bits like the coil pack connectors do. Anyone got an idea of what the part number is? Edited September 14, 2010 by jackso11 (see edit history)

Chris Wilson
I have the number somewhere but I got two for Julian's car the other month, he still has a spare shell. E-mail him at [email protected] They were dear....
jackso11
cheers chris. Any chance you can find the part number as Julian hasn't replied to my email and I need to get it on order tomorrow. By the way, brakes arrived thanks
Chris Wilson
90980-10737 or 90980-11062 They are both the same part. You can order new wire tails and pins, too, but I haven't access to the part numbers right now, they were about £9 EACH for the tails and pins though. jackso11
cheers chris. Are they similar to the coilpack clips to fit? Chris, do you know how to install the toyota parts catalogue? I have it but can't get it to work.
Chris Wilson
Yes. I have never got the EPC to install properly on my PC for years. The connector stuff isn't on it anyway. Even most UK dealers don't seem to have access to the drawings and part numbers, they deny they can be bought unless you cite an actual part number. jackso11
hmm, both parts a different prices. One is £9 and the second is £6. I went for the second one first
Steve
Please update the thread when you get your connector, i need to replace my plug and pins for the coolant sensor
jackso11
Just searched for both part numbers and it seems they are the same but the different codes are for different colours.
jackso11
confirmed.... http://toyota-corolla.ru/rm04f1ru/ewd/ewd/contents/connector/fig/ they are the same. Different codes = different prices and colours thats all
Chris Wilson
When they arrived both were the same colour. Will try and update with the terminal repair kit part number later.
jackso11
Right, it arrived, and its green. It is the 2 wire clip for one of the temp senders in the top rad pipe.....unfortunatly I need the 1 wire clip Any ideas what the part number for that might be? Its the plug that is right next to the 2 wire one. Also, I need the 2 wire sender itself....I bust mine getting it out the pipe not having much luck! Chris Wilson
The connector with two terminals is for the ecu to read the engine coolant temp. The single wire terminal is the sender for the dashboard coolant temp gauge. I have never had to buy either the sender or the connector, so don't know the part numbers. If you have the old connector to hand I can try and ID it off my Toyota wiring loom manual. I need crystal clear large format digital photos of the wire end and the sender end of the plug, taken square on, not something taken with a shaky hand with a camera phone! The sender part number should be available from any Toyota dealer given the VIN plate number, or maybe someone will look it up on their EPC for you. Chris Wilson
Don't say I don't do things for you! I looked on a spare loom I have and the parts you need are: 90980-11428 Housing 82998-12440 Terminal (that's for a 160 mm long piece of wire with one terminal attached as a repair section for the loom if needed). Steve
Chris, that terminal 82998-12440, is that the same pin that is used on all the other connections. ie. coolant temp sender (ecu), coil packs etc
jackso11
Thank chris! you are a star. The housing is the clip for the single wire sender right? I think I will need a new sender for the ecu (the two wire one) as the plug bust off the back of it. Is that the other part number? I will get photos up of my problems

It's definitely the same terminal for the coil packs.

Steve
It's used in quite a lot of connectors, but not all. It's definitely the same terminal for the coil packs. How about the water temp sender for the ECU?
jackso11
I did buy the ecu connector, but the other part has now broken off the sender itself, see pic. These are the two senders. I need the plug for the end of the wire to plug into the one on the left, and now I need a new ecu sender as you see from the picture this one is broken in half. I have the plug for the wire to plug into that one.

jackso11
when you say housing, do you mean they are all the plastic plug/housing on the end of the wires that plug in to each of those? Useful list of that is what they are So you have the part number for the temp sender? I am going to have a go at installing the toyota parts catalogue again later so if I get that working I will put a guide up. edit... Ahh, you answered as I was typing
