martini
I know a lot of people here are with O2 Broadband. They've just changed their LLU packages and now the most basic one had a 20GB download cap and all are subject to "traffic management" and a "fair use policy". At the moment these restrictions don't apply to people on the old packages. Here's a post from an Admin on their forums. http://forum.o2.co.u...ic.php?p=309382 Hi Oliver, Yes, traffic management will be implemented on all our new packages (i.e. Basics, All Rounder & Works). However, we will only be managing video streaming and peer to peer traffic. Traffic shaping will only take place during peak hours and even on the lowest packages customers will be able to stream good quality video and music without noticing any deterioration on the service. At O2 customer experience is really important and as such we will not be compromising the service we provide. Traffic shaping will not be implemented on our legacy packages (i.e. Standard, Premium and Pro) Thanks Abs Details of the traffic management. http://service.o2.co...2C&sms_ss=email
Pete
Sounds fair enough to me. It's quite a cheap service isn't it?
