Seriously guys - do me a favour and make sure you never use them, ever, forever, never!!! Pass this on to as many people as possible! Spelling mistake on the booking (yes a spelling mistake!) - means they are now charging another £192 for the SAME FLIGHT/SAME SEATS!! Bastards! Thank you for listening... Bobbeh
I used them this week, 4 hour delay one way, and a 2 1/2 hour delay coming back and all I got was a £3 lunch voucher lol. Still they were good enough to transfer me to other flights so I wont grumble too much.

Pete
I had this, my dad decided to book us a surprise flight and put Vicki down as Vicki...real name Victoria. DOH! I checked the site and they did state there was a £40 charge for each person, each flight (more than the tickets!). I managed to phone them and get through to someone reasonable who listened to my circumstance and made the change for free because it was "the same person, not a complete name change". Maybe I was being less grumpy that day.
Snooze
Airlines have huge problems with name changes. Back when they all used to allow name changes for free, travel agents would book loads of seats under false names, then tout them all at huge mark-up closer to flight time. Just another way of the low-cost airlines remaining low-cost is by closing this "loophole". Charging the full price of the ticket seems a bit steep, mind - especially if something is quite obviously a spelling mistake and not really a different passenger. I guess the "one size fits all" handling of name change processing is another way of keeping costs down.....
Supe
I feel your pain, but these things are usually covered in the small print... need to be cautious at all times, especially where it is VFM or too good to be true.
ronttuk
weved used them several times without any problems, when that dust cloud stopped flights my parents were in malta the put them in another hotel FOC without question pay all the bills other companys wouldnt accept any liability and made there passengers pay for hotels then claim the money back
Attero
My boss had the same problem because there was one letter wrong in his name. It's ridiculous. Is it that difficult to make a stupid change?

The-Plethora
I had something similar with Ryan air. I do a bit of work over in Ireland and had to fly to Dublin for the week and unfortunately booked it monday morning after a heavy weekend when I was knackered and ended up accidentally booking for Belfast, only this was done on the company coin so they would be far from impressed! I did some frantic searching and found some little known small print on a web site that states if you make a change within 4 hours of the booking there is no charge oher than changing the costs it would have been anyway to a different airport. Chris Wilson
Is it just me or does incentivise sound wrong? I know it's in the dictionaries, (OK, I had to check.... ), but incentivate sounds far less obscure.

Guest Diematrosen
This is how budget airlines make money apparently. You can't make money selling flights for £10 but you can make money by charging very high prices for customer errors, no matter how small. The lesson is, not 'uck easyjet or Ryanair or any other budget, it's get it right no matter how difficult they make it.
