What to listen to when driving

Recently I have been more into just listening to the exhaust and engine instead of radio/music. Even for long journeys. Perhaps it's a phase I'm going through, but you can't beat the sound of the Supra, even when just chugging along. Anyone with me?

Sometimes yes - if i forget my ipod, and I can't use my radio as I don't have an aerial. And it's all good

 

Although driving home from work tonight i was annoying myself with the noise - decatted Buddyclub exhaust does make a racket. Usually I love it, but recently I'm finding it increasingly a pain. Is this a sign that I'm growing up?!

I sometimes like the quietness (yes mine is uber quiet) and smooth rumble of the engine. If the road is smooth then it is nice to listen to the engine. If the road is bumpy then the cabin can be a bit noisy so I normally flick the radio on (yes I am getting old).

Stereo, sacrilege. Only engine and exhaust sounds here, my music system is redundant.

I have the radio on constantly but more often than not it's not up that loud to hear or it's being drowned out by the exhaust.

I used to spend alot of time in my Single with the stereo turned off, although occasionally something aggressive (often from the late 1990s Prodigy stable) would be suitable.

I may be stock, but I often just listen to the engine/exhaust.

 

If it's raining however, I turn the music up. Not a lot of noise when you are taking care.

Music, and/or exhaust. Some times it's good to hear both at the same time.

 

EDIT: Thinking about it, I haven't really got the option not to hear the exhaust.

I like pluggin my iPhone in and playing some of my fav tunes. 'Driving song' - can't be something that makes you feel greart behind the wheel.

I have a crappy headunit but lovely speakers. I am currently listening to Eminem Recovery. I sing along. Yes, I admit it.

Engine and exhaust. I have no option my radio packed up on a hot day when the display melted, and then when replacing my window motors the speaker cones disintegrated in my hands, thats over a year ago now and i still havnt replaced any of it.

Usually, I like to listen to the Engine/ Blitz Nur spec R Exhaust burbling away in the backround (One of the many reasons why I bought the car in the first place, lol), especially on short trips. Otherwise I plug my iPod in.
