SUPRALOOPY
Do all the heater controls work properly? If so he is VERY lucky The car looks superb, you are a patient fella' Thanks Chris, It was very (pink) And it will never be perfect but that is not the goal. This is a make it nice project on a (lets not go mad budget) I have a long history with classic cars and know what can go into the smallest of projects. I have a good eye for what needs doing and what is not really needed for what's being done. Btw I have restored two Facel vega one hk 500 and one baby vega. All I'll say is they are french:innocent:
Miguel
Douglas valley had a few 928's with stock wheels on, might be worth a punt.

Chris Wilson
HK500 is a beautiful looking car, in my opinion., if not the Facellia One of those cars I'd like to have, but feel sure they look better than really are Got any photos of the restoration or finished car? I always fancied a white one, as I saw one for sale with a none original engine in a car lot in Manchester when I was about 12, and just loved the thing. I have none but I have some very strange and exotic pics of cars I have been involved with. Not sure it would fit in with this forum though.. tooquicktostop
I am liking this. One of my all time favourite looking cars..!! This is my reason for doing this, I have owned a 911 and a 944 but as a teenager I always loved the 928, no way I could have owned one as a young man, the joy now is that we can bring one back from a cross-roads in its life, one step from the scrapper to a loved car that will form part of a collection that will get stored and driven and cared for over many years This is such an exciting project for me and Dave works some real magic, I can not recommend him enough
tooquicktostop
I have a new indicator and new fog light for the NS to replace the broken and fogged item, however the black surround is no longer available from Porsche so we need a 2nd hand unit

tooquicktostop
Just picked this up tonight and drove it home for the first time from Daves, thanks again Dave for a great job The 928 S2 drives so well, a real GT car, When new it must have been a real experience especially in 1984 when this one was made and average folk were in Allegros and Maxis! Absolutely love it!

Guest wantthatone
i ran one of these for 10 years a nice 928 s2, becoming a rarity these days for a nice stock example. it was european car of the year in fact, & believe it or not it was intended to replace the 911. effortless 4.7 V8 with 310bhp on tap. driving the supra is the nearest thing to the 928 i have found. as some of you know i sold my project 964 to pay some debts etc, the money left over i ploughed into a 993 carrera 2, which has sat for the last 4 months on its own, with all my spare cash & time being spent on the N/A.....
