AlanM
I would go with accidental but the tosser could have owned up to it
Guest «Supra»
Jealousy, best defined by actions like these.
fuldhat
You cant have anything to yourself anymore... thats why my cars are locked in tight and hidden when I am not driving them. Seems these things happen more and more.
scotty71
does not look accidental to me, just my thoughts. Does the so called neighbour have a side opening van? It has deffo stripped it right back!! A splash IMO would be more damage over more area but less volume. I wouldnt leave my Supra, or when I had my Cosworth etc out at night. If I didnt have a garage I would not want to own such a car due to the mindless tits out there. Nothing that a 30mm ring spanner wouldnt solve if they were caught in the act. MizTheWiz
pop over your neighbours all innocent and say "can you do me a favour as your a painter any idea what could have caused this to happen on my car so i can repair it" then judge his reaction. feel for you bud:(
Rummy
Looks like nitromors or something. Feel for you mate, not going to be a cheap fix. No other word for it than SCUM. Most definately looks like the effects of Nitromorse to me too.
clarky666
Guy who's done work on the supra before has said he'll respray the door and sill and tidy up another couple of small blemishes for £200 cash, thats cracking is it not? mustang
Looks like an accident to me too, the guy could have dropped a can of it and not even realised it went on your car. Paint stripper will work its way through the layers so could have taken a bit of time to become that visible. If he parks his van near your car ask him if he's spilt anything recently, you should be able to tell from his reaction / answer if he had anything to do with it. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just strip the rest of the car? Yes, that sounds like a good deal to me.
Havard
Nitromors needs to be scraped off after lifting the paint. I would go with acid of some sort. I would be asking your next door neighbour what he thinks of the damage. He may just own up but then again, it will cost him money and he'll therefore lie like he never has before.... Bad days..!! H. R Black
Sorry to see that, I've u used Nitromoors, it only bubbles up the layers ready for scraping off. I agree it looks like an accident as it would have been on the roof otherwise,as was said with some form of acid.

Dnk
£200 is about the going rate to paint a panel, it'll need stripping right back to the metal first though. Hope he gets a good match with the colour if he's not blending it down the wing and quarter panel
Harry Sachs
That sucks balls. Hopefully you get it sorted easily enough and there isn't any repeat instances. Look at the bright side........least you didn't go to see thaat gash last night, or did you?
nasoup
Non of this makes sense, the marks don't look like an attack by some idiot but also it would have to be a complete retart to have an accident like that and then not own up to it! Some investigating on your part me thinks. The first suspect would be whoever parks next to your car.
gaz1
1st thing, go to his van and have a look at it to see if he has anything like it to his van, if he dropped something while unloading his then there would be splashes on it like yours
Septic
Oh ffs. What a bunch of cocks. This winds me right up. These guys need to get the absolute $h17 kicked out of them. It's the only way they'll learn.
jonc
I remember when mine was hit by some t***er whilst parked and they did not leave any details I was fuming:wtf: I have to say years ago people use to spray cars (jealous gits) with brake fluid which would have the same effect but it does look like someone tried to cover their tracks and wipe it off which caused the paint to pull. have to say £200 sounds good so hopefully better days ahead. I feel your anger and frustration:(
Rob
Hope it is an accident but OTOH if it is malicious, maybe some kid threw it expecting it to go all over the roof and door, but as stripper is quite gloopy it just plopped down there and the miscreant was already legging it away. JS2004
Should be able to take revenge on them by lopping off a finger or two - tad extreme but they wouldnt keep doing it! Im in a similar situation as someone poured that crap on my bonnet and front wing! replacing them is a right pain. Hope you get it sorted. Josh
That sucks, as said previously speak to your painter neighbour and ask if he knows how it would have happened and see if he owns up. Hope you find the bugger!

Dnk
accident, bollox!,,chance in a million, either someones really pissed of with you or they just don't like other people having cool stuff,,, Surely if what you say is true then you'd pour whatever it was over the roof and bonnet and not at the bottom of the door ?
