Ricky49
If it spools quicker than my current one then I will be happy. The 6766 DBB is the new technology and my 6765 is journal and was a stop gap to get me on the road last year with the problems I had with the BW not fitting. Samurai 20V
Just had a read of this from the beginning, very nice build... I am impressed with the HKS kit quality, I am almost certain I will be going the same route! Seems worth the investment. Congrats on a great car! T2 MSW
Nice choice in Turbo. Should see the spool come down a bit. What boost are you going to run? Have you ever had your car on anything other than a hub dyno?
Ricky49
Hopefully around 1.5 bar ish with roughly the same amount of power if possible. I went on at SRR and made 675 with lots of wheel spin can't remember what boost that was at.
johnny g
What's the ETA on the turbo, Ricky? You going on the hub-dyno next time for mapping?
Ricky49
My last two times have been on the hub dyno JG Abbey and TDI only a couple of gee gee difference at the same boost. The SRR dyno was when it was first mapped It should be here the in a month or so, no rush as I'm not in with the main man until mid June
johnny g
Ah ok bud. Itching to get mine back now - the love is returning, typically, when I don't have it.
Ricky49
Would fitting a set of SRD stage 3 cams be any benefit to my single setup. At the moment with the stage 2 in my car pulls all the way to the rev limit. Just wondering if it would be any benefit in fitting the stage 3 with the new turbo going on or would it be too lumpy low down and awfull to drive.
