Horn wire for aftermarket steering wheel

Little info needed to finish my steering wheel change.

I`ve removed 4-spoke airbag wheel from facelift to replace it with aftermarket steering wheel using ELEVO boss-kit.

Everything is now ok to drive, but I still need to wire up my horn to make it complete.

The black wire seems to be original wire for the horn.

That red wire is connected to earth the horn to boss kit.

horn button has 2 connectors. Other is to red one to earth it to boss kit.

Now the question is: What wire should I run to other connector to horn button to make it work?

(I`ve searched, yes I`ve searched...)

Hi.

Did you find out how it must be?

I've the same problem right now, but you're forward insteed of me. I bought my car with a TRD steering wheel already mounted. I forgot to check the horn, thus when I saw this days later I stuck on it. From the pictures I know now that the most right conector pin is form the horn. Thus thanks...now is the challange to figure out how to make it work.

If you have more information I'll be glad :)

Usually, the single wire coming from the steering column is live. On Momo boss kits, you get an additional steel ring which goes between wheel and boss. The earth wire is then connected to the ring from the horn button. I think you can order this ring from Momo dealers seperately. Failing that, you need to somehow make an earth connection somewhere within the boss/steering column.

Out of curiousity, have you connected a resistor to the airbag connector?
