Aero-M
I'm after a set of headphones for my I -pod, I want the ones that go in your ear. I have had a few sets over the years, I seem to not get on with them as they hurt my ears after 10 minutes. So I would like some that are both comfortable and have a good sound quality? monsween
If i can ask why dont you want the over ear ones? Hella more comfortable and better sound quality.

Brazil
skull candy all the way dude...! trust me..! great value for money no brainer..! dont buy the expensive skull candy either no need in the states they cost about 25 dollars so in the uk it will prob be around 20 pounds..! I've got a 120 pounds pair of head phones but for everyday these are the best..!
monsween
Sennheiser are better than skull candy if you ask me. Skull candy are good dont get me wrong but are more for looking good than sounding good
Brazil
Skull candy has way more bass then sennheiser the mids and highs are also very good. If you want to only listen to music with mids and highs yeah get the Sennheiser they are 20% better then the skull candy but the bass is not comparable.. in my opinion offcourse haha
Aero-M
I have a set of over the ear ones that I use for my keyboard, They sound great and are comfortable, But the I phone is for when I'm working and the over ear ones would get in the way. I have a pair of sony in ears and the apple ones but they just really hurt my ears after about 10 mins and then can't put them in for a few hours. stevie_b
If i can ask why dont you want the over ear ones? Hella more comfortable and better sound quality. +1. I can't get on with in-ear headphones. Every pair I've tried are bloody uncomfortable. On-ear or over-ear FTW.
SteamAhead
I have the Sennheiser cx400II and think they are great ear phones. They also come with different fitments as well to make them more comfortable. http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/home_en.nsf/root/private_headphones_classic-line_cxseries_502743 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SENNHEISER-CX-400-II-TITANIUM-/110581406539?pt=UK_AudioVisualElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_Headphones&hash=item19bf2a5b4b Can get them cheaper if you want to import. creativename
There are some in ear Dre headphones on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Monster-Beats-Dr-Dre-In-Ear-Tour-Headphones-New-/300462733988?pt=UK_AudioVisualElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_Headphones&hash=item45f4f97aa4 considering these myself as I find the apple ones the same. Listening to mainly Hip Hop hopefully the Dre headphones will do the job.

For your own sake I hope those Dre headphones are good. They look the part, but I wouldn't put my faith in the fact they have Dre's name on meaning they're good for rap / hip-hop
creativename
There are some in ear for 45.00 BIN and some for around 25 aswell. The expensive ones are the big ones. I know what you mean about them not forced to be any good for hip hop just because they have dre on them. Im waiting for a mate to get some so I can have a listen first. Aero-M
Thanks for the replies guys. It would seem Sennheiser's are the way to go, I just thought of what hifi today and they do headphones reveiws. Some very good and some very expensive ones on there, but the sennheiser cx300 which are quite cheap got 5 stars so will get a set of those. Went to currys but they want £45 a set, ebay for between £10-£20 new.
Harry Sachs
They're not in the ear though, are they? Yeah mate, it was JamesMark who was bumming them up. He owned and loved a set of Sennheisers, then bought the Dre's and says the are a hell of a lot better. Earphones are just earphones to me

Ric
I have the in ear Beats by dre, they are ok, but the different ear fittings don't quite fit my ears properly sometimes they fall out, but they are comfy if you want 100% true fitting headphones you will have to pay I think the company is called Shure, they will custom mould headphones to your inner ears (same process as creating moulds for professional performance headphones) its around 80£ for the moulding and some headphones from their range will be around £100 but nothing else will come close or something by bower & wilkins, i don't think they make inner ear though
