Turbo query?

Hi guys/gals!

 

I was looking at this site that sell turbo chargers by Garrett. GT3Turbos.com, they also advertise on Ebay. Have spoken to the chaps who run this company and apparently they are genuine Garrett Turbos that are assembled and balanced at the Garrett factory and they do them to order.

 

2 questions really.

 

1) Has anyone had any dealings with these guys before?

2) What do you guys think of this turbo, performance and price wise?: -

That is basically the same turbo I have on my car at the moment

 

I have never heard of the company so cant comment on them.

Its an old turbo these days, there are much better units available but it does seem cheap for a new unit, I paid a little less than that years ago for mine second hand.

 

The BW turbos are not far of that price, around £800, speak to AET turbos who are well known and they will sort you out.

I'd email Garrett and ask whether said company is an approved distributor and what info they can provide on them, worth a go.
