Help needed, What HD Camcorder with Slow motion feature do i get

Hi All,

Was watching a rerun of the Gadget show last night and there was a couple of HD camcorders that shoot slow motion in either 300 or 600fps, however the resolution of these slow motion images were pretty useless less than 640x480.

Does anyone know any HD camcorders that do slow motion with a descent resolution in the £500-£1k bracket?

I have a Sanyo Xacti HD 1010 which does 300fps. It's not as good as the more expensive Cannons ect (looking at you scott ;) ). But I bought a cheaper camera so I could stick it on the outside of my car using a mount without worrying too much about it.

Here is an example of the 300fps footage, then later in the video it jumps to 720p.

Double click the video link to youtube for the proper HD version.

Mate, your still very brave to stick that outside the car like that. My fingers were crossed all the way up the motorway.

Heres mine for a comparison. There're a few shots at the beginning which were recorded in normal mode and then manually slowed down. It's not perfect but for the money it's not bad.

Edit: Double click the vid for the 1080p version :p
