j_jza80
At least the owner will not be able to risk any ones safety now. A 23 year old drunk driver in an evo what could be worst. A 23 year old in a spontaneous combusting Ferrari 458?
pistonbroke
No charges on officer HECMVdl-9SQ The fact that Tomlinson was drunk and being obstructive seems to get very little mention, he had several run ins with police throughout the course of the day, but apparently, he was on his way home from work? No charges on officer 6THfDGy1hN4 I've said this before, IMO, he was more than justified in his actions. He used home office approved and trained techniques in the face of a mob situation. Jean Charles De Menezes clip from Alex Jone's Terrorstorm (great documentry) Shot 8 times in the head and had no explosives on him (cover up from the start) just like 7/7 9XFEylp_ydg Conspiracy theories blah blah blah. I suppose the US government blew up the twin towers too. Shoe on the other foot for a moment, suppose he had explosives on him and they didn't take him out, then he proceeded to kill hundreds of people after they failed to act. Check out the below link for how many police are fined for speeding through speed camera's while on duty. This is not while attending emergency calls and thus should be applicable to the same wrath of the law as me and you. Truely unbelievable figures. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2855038/1-in-1800-Metropolitan-police-officers-caught-on-speed-cameras-is-fined.html Are you bonkers That article doesn't take into consideration that police 'have' to speed to get to emergency calls thereby setting off cameras. Why should police get points on their license for responding to an emergency? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-68055/How-forgetful-policeman-let-speeding-fine.html That one's a fair cop. http://www.safespeed.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=23154&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a Surely that's a good thing that she's challenged it? Gordon F
While not condoning the actions of the clownstabulary, if the guy was driving the car drunk, he should have it confiscated anyway IMO.
scotty71
I suppose the US government blew up the twin towers too. There is more evidence to suggest they did than they didnt Building WTC 7 was brought down "controlled"

Septic
Lol gotta love it. I have seen LOADS of coppers go beyond the speed limit without sirens on. Mins you, ill give them the benefit of the doubt seeing as they have been nice to me (mostly) when I get stopped for no front plates etc.

ronttuk
The fact that Tomlinson was drunk and being obstructive seems to get very little mention, he had several run ins with police throughout the course of the day, but apparently, he was on his way home from work? so if a guy comes up to me while i am out and is rude drunk obstructive and offensive i can kick him from behind and if he falls and hits his head on the curb or something and dies i wont be prosecuted for manslaughter at the very leased, i dont think so i am sure i would be prosecuted and imprisoned, just because someone wears a uniform dont make them above the law in my opinion, one of my family was in a relationship with a wife beater after years of abuse she moved he tracked her down and beat her continuously then the police arranged for her to be rehoused in a domestic abuse hostel with alarm buttons all over the place he tracked her down again and attacked her she then moved again on her own esteem he tracked her down kicked her front door in attacked her again she finally tried to defend herself unfortunately she stabbed him killed him now shes doing time for manslaughter , wasnt that enough persecution to defend herself ?? i bet if she was a copper and retaliated first time she would of walked away scot free
Purity14
I had a friend in school after we left he punched someone in the face on a night out, police were called but he was let off due to the guy goading him. However, the guy didnt wake up in the morning due to head injuries, he went to jail for 5 years. I will not and never will punch someone in the face, nomatter what. dude
You would have undertaken a marked police van doing 90mph? That's commitment Most people say I should be commited;) Hell yes i hardly think he would of caught me
Ian C
Plod pushing the guy over was inexcusable in my opinion, it was shocking to see. Plod clocking that mouthy bird round the knee was controlled and by most accounts justified, so I've got no problem with that. Coppers speeding to incidents is fine, of course they have to do that. But coppers doing 90mph on deserted dual carriageway at 2am without blues on is not, seeing as that's how I got my points - they overtook me as I was doing sixty-bloody-seven miles per hour (and drifting into a coma) so I made a complaint and got them in hot water Now, shooting the guy on the train, that's an interesting thing. Most people have a go at the poor sod who shot him. Thing is, he was acting in a high pressure situation and could only go on info and orders from on high. That info and those orders were what went wrong. The copper who pulled the trigger I actually have respect for (except he missed with one shot). As far as he knew, he was actively following someone who could explode and maim or kill him at any moment, and then had to actively intervene and challenge him, where the odds of said explosion rapidly approaches 1 in 1. The balls that guy must have to put himself in that position in the interests of protecting mooks like us! And then everyone turns on him instead of the fat bastards who fed him duff info all along. That's the real crime there.
a98pmalcolm
so they take it off his hands fron driving erratically so they can do the same clearly!!! I think we all know thats not 30 MPH thats done that!!

"Two officers fired a total of eleven shots according to the number of empty shell casings found on the floor of the train afterwards. Menezes was shot seven times in the head and once in the shoulder at close range, and died at the scene" Seven times in the head for an innocent man.... yes respect to the copper/s - special forces

I am pretty sure a trained special forces personal should be able to get head shots from X amount distance.
