hello people HELP PLEASE!!

ok at first my supra had a problem when you started it it would idle for a few seconds and cut off....i did alot of reading here and figure i would try to change the throttle position sensor (tps) and im having a little trouble adjusting it so if someone could guide me on how to do that i would really appreciate it....now that i changed the tps it starts and idles fine but when i drive it it shifts really early and if i try to give it any more then a big toe on the gas it trys to cut off or it just cant make its mind up on what to do dont really know how to explaine it but it wont go no where if u floor it..could it be doing this because my tps isnt properly adjusted? or is it something else?
