Exhaust Issue

Hey guys

 

take a look at the pic and see if you can tell me why my HKS super dragger sits slightly low and to the right ??

 

Its been bugging me for AAAGGESSS and as im a perfectionist , its really getting on my nerves...

 

Was fitted professionally with new rear exhaust rubber ring thingys, 2 of them and still wobbles quite a bit and sits wrong in my eyes.

 

anybody else have this problem? ?

 

My old motoria exhaust was a snug fit (up to the bumper almost and nice and tight in the oval cut out ) with double decat pipes aswell... so why does this sit so "wrong"

You may need smaller "rubber ring thingys"

you need a new car, one that sits slightly lower and to the left to line up with the exhaust.

Haha nice one guys, I now see my terminology might not be the best, but im sure you all get what i mean, i will see if i can get smaller "rubber ring thingys" and see what happens.

 

Anybody else have any ideas ?

Ever since putting a decat on my NA my Nur spec R is sitting to the right, not as bad as yours but it is noticeable.

all exhausts will sit slightly different, if you want it perfect you will have to cut the decat and have it welded perfectly for your car or have a custom one made.....like mine

you need a new car, one that sits slightly lower and to the left to line up with the exhaust.

I'm sure you can get different mountings/rubbers to get that to line up better

that would annoy the cr@p out of me too, i'd say smaller rubber things are the best shout.

Okey dokey , sounds like the similar kind of answers are propping up.

 

i will have a go at getting some new smaller rubber ring's and see if its any better.

Deffo some new rings that are a bit smaller, and check the other rubbers ar'nt worn a bit further down the pipe.

 

Mine exhaust sat funny because one of those rubbers had perished could be whats making it wobble too

It's either not got the left hand side exhaust mount, or it hasn't got the right one. Just order a pair of them up from Toyota and replace them both as they cost next to nothing and will position the exhaust right (assuming the exhaust has been made right!)

ahhh alll sorted now after some new smaller rubbers from halfrauds, and a few tedious finger scrapes

 

but all done now and sitting perfectly how i wanted.

still got my exhaust on with zipties!

 

can play about with the line-up to perfection with that

 

stil have the rubber on the mid pipe to absorb any bumps tho.
