Unless the electronic tuning parts can be crossed over then no, nothing in common at all. Personally Id find itand fix the fault as the MRs are really rare now and get a good price. Manual I take it? Whats wrong with it?

All turbo's are manual.

As said what noise is it making? They can be very tappety.

When I had my FTO, I use to take it to EuroSpec for them to look after it.

They know what they are doing & mainly look after FTO's & GTO's.

Might be worth for them to have a look at it, while your there check out the 700bhp GTO they have there :eyebrows:

If its knocking its probably bottom end, the V6s do tap alot but thats top end. Id listen to Abz and check out Eurospec for a definate answer.
Noisy tappets, when I hadn't used my FTO for a while (3 months) and turned her over the tappet noise scared the hell out of me!
