foggy147
Hello everyone, just wondering if someone could give me some thoughts on this ford mondeo st I'm thinking of looking at tomorow. Basically it has done 105,000 miles and wanted to know if you would recommend buying a car with this sort of mileage? It apparently is 1 owner and fsh etc, but Ive never had a car with more than 75k miles and im just worried getting a car with alot of mileage might prove costly. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201034366777588/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/7000/price-from/4000/model/mondeo/make/ford/page/1/postcode/bl18sr/keywords/st/radius/100?logcode=p
shaky
My brother in law has just got one,77 miles, paid 4k for it and it's had to have over 1k just to fix it.same o5 plate, trade has 20 per cent mark up on it so i'd give it a miss

Abz
I'd be interested on the feedback on this as well, been thinking of getting one as a daily runner. I think the one you are looking at is priced a tad high but then again bringing from a trade sale will be higher than a private sale. My main concern would be the turbo & good the engine is, I am sure it will look clean being only 5 years old. Let us know how you get on! foggy147
Thanks for that, also want to look at this one which is a 120k miles, they really do look nice compared to all the other boring diesel within my budget http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201029363862779/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/6000/price-from/4000/model/mondeo/make/ford/postcode/bl18sr/keywords/st/page/1/radius/40?logcode=p

As im not interested in the non st ones as they are just to plain looking for my liking. Havnt seen any st diesels go for less than 4500

shaky
Yes it's a diesel, fsh, maybe you'll have more luck than the brother in law, just get some one who knows what to look for,the price can only come down
Havard
I know ıt wasn`t an ST but my Mondeo Dıesel was one of the best cars I have had..... Fords are generally excellent for relıabılıty although not as good as they used to be. H.
