Purity14
Thats the only way in? You could tie rope to the bridge and sorta climb into it, my main problem would be if someone noticed the rope and removed it. You would need a spotter, someone stood there having a cig on the phone or something, distracting the said rope-removers.
Purity14
Has anyone seen the pictures on 28days when they infiltrated the warship whilst it was docked in liverpool before decommissioning?
Benyon
Benners, I love this type of stuff, If you find somewhere good - drop me a text, im in. I have skills in access. Living in liverpool I dont doubt that for a minute brendon. Apperently theres something in gorton too, but thats a dodgy part of salford as you proberly know already and it wouldn't be a good idea parking up there for a few hours. The best one I can think of is the cathedral steps me and nev's talking about now. You would need a spotter, someone stood there having a cig on the phone or something, distracting the said rope-removers. Yeah that would much needed. I would just need my armbands incase I fell in lol.

C_Strike
You can get to the outside of the ammo dump, through a mine, i believe its been nought out by Wansdyke security now though. Its probably been rennovated:/ A stupid number of abandonded quarries around here, made growing up much more interesting, lol Found a working scooter in there, and a bike too! when they got there i dont know but made exploration a bit more entertaining. Best picture example i could find... http://www.nettleden.com/venues/monkton-farleigh/

Ric
Can you still gain access, as I have a skeliton key for all pad locks you have to be careful, there is a fine line between urbex and taking photographs, and breaking and entering with trespass. If there is an open window yes, if theres locked access, don't bother IMO
MrRalphMan
Well I'm subscribed, I love this stuff.. Not a member on 28dayslater, but always like to browse through the new reports.
nevins
Basically, when it comes down to the laws, if its private property but open access its still trespassing, hence why most of its done at night. Cautions , fines and so on are a common thing. Alot of the time you can get permission to enter certain places, but then they are the places seen a thousand times. I tend to find the places out in the sticks or at least away from the roads so that if security/police do turn up you have the chance to find a good place to camp while they look around. Hi viz uniforms are a blessing at these times as they are seen a mile off.

I also take a short stick, for getting rid of cobwebs and spiders. Doubles up too, incase you wake up an irate tramp and find yourself in the middle of his front room. (Tramps arent all that friendly)

(Tramps arent all that friendly) lol, trmps are handy sometimes, if you have a can of lager the soon show you things they have found down places, and they can tell you how often police come around. As for spiders BURN THEM ALL!
Benyon
Theres some tunnels under Bolton that i wanted to look at but never had the guts. Id be well up for it if we could get atleast 4 people down there, Like nevins said take a few cheap beers down incase we meet some tramps (It would be like throwing a steak for a security dog then running off lol) You mention tunnels under bolton neil do you mean the donkey tunnels? Ive been through a few round kearsley when I was alot younger it took like almost an hour to come out the other end, TBH donkey tunnels are crap because there is nothing much to do apart from walking in a straight line until you see daylight at the end. nevins
http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/sites/c/cardiff_coryton/index.html This was amazing but a poxy hotel sits on the site now. The odd thing was every brick piece of wood and glass and even the soil from around the area was removed in trucks. The blast doors were cool as and the underground level impressive. To get an idea of size check out the last i pic of the operations room in this link. http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/sites/c/cardiff_coryton/index2.html Here is a link with loads of pics. http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/sites/c/cardiff_coryton/index3.html

Although this is suffering from the same fate, check this link out http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=39864 You will see why it has the name county asylum as its huge.
